We’re searching for a Senior Python Developer who’s really smart, enthusiastic, and ready to help build the technology behind our current and future products. If you join us, you’ll be creating computer programs the right way and making sure we don’t pile up too many tricky problems. We want someone who can work efficiently and get things done well, from start to finish.
Our big project is making a special platform for trading stuff between people. Imagine you want to sell something and even offer a loan to the buyer – we’re building the place for that!
What we’re looking for:
- You’ve been a Python developer for 3-5 years.
- You really know Python and some other things like Django, Flask, or Pyramid.
- You understand how Python handles lots of things at once and what it can’t do.
- You can make different kinds of data work together in one system.
- You know about tools for checking if your code works.
- You can work with others or by yourself.
- You know how to make a computer talk to a phone app.
- You get what microservices are all about.
- You speak English pretty well.
Here’s what you’ll do:
- You’ll talk with other teams to figure out what our programs need to do.
- You’ll write code in Python that can handle lots of work.
- You’ll test and fix our programs to make sure they work right.
- You’ll make the behind-the-scenes parts of our programs.
- You’ll connect the things people see on their screens to our programs.
- You’ll decide what new things we should add for our users.
- You’ll make sure our data is safe and easy to find.
- You’ll work closely with the people who make the parts of our programs that users see.
- If we need to, you’ll change how our databases work to make them better.
What we’ll give you:
- We’ll pay you well and check how you’re doing regularly.
- You can pick when you work, and you can work from anywhere. We also have an office in the middle of Kyiv if you want to come in.
- We’ll help with taxes and have someone take care of your money stuff.
- You’ll get some time off (up to 20 days) to rest and recharge.
- If you get sick, we’ll still pay you for up to 10 days.
